Over 60% of those deaths involve falls from ladders, scaffolds, working platforms, roof edges and falls through fragile roofs or roof-lights, with other fatal injuries on such projects arising from the collapse of excavations, lifting operations, electricity and mobile plant?
We did! And we work very closely with our clients to ensure that they don’t add to that statistic. You probably don’t need us to tell you the potential dangers involved in construction…but we could, and many new clients tell us how grateful they are when we do!
FRS’s many years of experience in construction has given us unique insight and knowledge of the Industry’s potential pitfalls and the risks that need to be anticipated, considered and planned for. From the implementation of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM) 2015 to the degree of liaison required with your client, FRS is here to help, guide and protect you.
We also provide the Competent Person Facility for assessment purposes in the process needed for CHAS, SAFE Contractor, EXOR or any other SSIP.
Knowing the risks to look out for and how to report them is essential to safety, your workers should know how to deal with potential hazards on-site. A substantial amount of information can be relayed during the site health and safety induction. Including workers in your construction health and safety strategy and plans is a great way to make them feel valued and potentially upskill them too. If your stuck on what on which courses to consider, we suggest a good starting point would be our CDM and Asbestos Awareness courses.
